NEWS from NEWTON!!! Introducing the Sir Isaac and Lady Isaac, a brand new shoe from the fine folks at Newton Running. The newest edition to the Newton family offers intelligent control for all foot types. The Isaac is a neutral guidance trainer designed for runners committed to improving their running form to the more efficient midfoot/forefoot running style. We should get our first shipment of the Sir and Lady Isaac around mid September. Pre orders are accepted.

Thanks to everyone for such a great race on Saturday. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves, we know we did!!! Such an awesome group of runners. A huge thanks to all our volunteers, the race could not have been done without all your help. Here are the results of the 2009 Scorcher Four.

Team Ghisallo was out in force this morning at the Wood River Triathlon. A little HEAT and HUMIDITY did not seem to slow them down! Filling in 5 of the top 10 spots were Shawn O'Neal (1), John Aerni-Flessner (2), Zac Freudenburg (3) Doug Pohlman (7) and Bob Patterson (9). John and Zac then cheered on both their spouses, Lauren and Wieke, as they finished up their races. Congratulations!

Scorcher Four EARLY REGISTRATION Deadline is Saturday, August 8th! Register by August 8th and avoid paying the late registration fee plus the first 300 entrants are guaranteed a race shirt!
